i just finished a supplement for stanford, with pictures, etc. i was wondering if it would be appropriate for me to send it, as i know in the application they did not want applicants to send in extra material. should i refrain from doing so / would it count against me?

I guess you could, but I'm a little confused as to what you're sending exactly.

I was thinking about sending a letter about a recent OCAD competition--information that wasn't available around the time of my Mid-Year Report--because we did really well (not quite state, but we were close!) and OCAD's been a huge thing for me. I didn't really think about it counting against me--if they don't want to read it, they don't have to, but it's there. It would have been there if it were available for my Mid-Year Report anyway, so I fail to see any major discrepancy.
