Should I send my 3s on the AP tests to highly competitive schools?

I didn’t do nearly as well as I thought I did on the AP tests junior year, getting a 3 on AP Lang, 3 on APUSH, and a 4 on
AP Physics 1.

I’m applying to:

Cornell
UCLA
Johns Hopkins
Rice
USC
Stanford (long shot)
Harvey Mudd
Umichigan
University of Virginia

I’m obviously going to submit the 4 on Physics, but should I submit the two threes for the other subjects? Or would it negatively affect my application? (4.0 unweighted gpa, 33 ACT, two summer internships with original research)

I would, it shows that you’re honest. If you have good grades in the classes, colleges will understand that maybe you just had a bad day

No, don’t. Your competitor applicants will have better scores, so if the adcoms look at the AP scores (many schools say they don’t) it will work against you.

It is better to show you have a 3 than for them to assume you have a 1or 2.
