How many schools are you applying to? Send both if you can. If (financially) it is a burden to send both to all school then send just ACT to safeties (assuming they don’t need subject tests). But send both to your reaches and matches if possible. It just gives schools more data points. Shows you are a strong, consistent test taker.
I am applying to 10+ plus schools, so I would rather save money and send one test. They’re pretty equal scores, so I’m really conflicted as to which one I should choose.
So looking at this again here is what I would suggest…if you are going to send just one score I would send the SAT- since you have the added (strong) subject tests that you can include for free. It’s a great single test score and since most schools superscore the SAT you get the advantage of a superscore there (most don’t superscore the ACT). From what I can tell your single sitting SAT is slightly higher than you ACT though the superscores do appear pretty equal.
Thank you @lr4550 ! I think so too, it is helpful that I can send all scores at once with the SAT, as opposed to the ACT where you have to pay for each individual test…
