Should I Send My ACT Scores? PLEASE HELP!

I applied for Early Action. I send my application in around the second week of October.
My SAT was a 1600/2400

I kind of regret not sending the ACT
For Sept I got:
English - 21
Math - 18
Reading - 18
Science - 21
Combo of R and W - 19
Essay: 06
Composition: 20

October:
English - 22
Math - 20
English - 23
Science - 19
Combo of R and W - 22
Essay: 08
Composition: 21

The superscore would be a 22 (Does Rutgers superscore the ACT? If not I'll just send Oct. scores)
If I send them will it boost my chances of getting in?
And will i still qualify for early action?

To be honest there is no point of sending your ACT in. Your SAT scores are decent enough.

I’m applying to NB though :[
And my GPA is only a 2.7

Sorry to say but I don’t think your chances are very good. You never know though.

I hope I have a good chance and my extra curricular activities boost my chances!

Your scores are low for NB - may be offered Newark instead.

I didn’t apply to Newark though. Will they still offer it?

Sometimes they offer the other schools to people who apply to new brunswick only. Its a possibility. You can always start there - then apply to transfer for sophomore year if you do well.

your scores arent low at all…my friend got in with a 3.4 and a 1490/2400 SAT

1490/2400 are u kidding me?? wow.

Yes, he had a 3.4 unweighted gpa and he got into NB with a 1490 sat…but i guess it is only fair to mention that he lived in one of the worst cities in America, he had exceptional EC’s, his financial situation wasnt the best, and he got tons of financial aid and EOF, so he may of been accepted because of the guaranteed money to the university…but he had a 3.4 and a 1490 sat nonetheless

You also have to factor into the account that Rutgers NB is decreasing the number admission by a few hundreds this year and on. In order to alleviate the overcrowded environment and several complaints from students against the limited resources, Rutgers proposed this solution just last year, actually. Rutgers NB is getting more competitive each year, so rejecting the extra few hundred of the applicants each year will actually benefit the Rutgers community in many different levels.

ACT alone is very low, sorry to say. you would need like a 27 ACT to be considered part of the pool.

Yea…I second that. Here’s the stat from year 2010.

Rutgers - New Brunswick
Average Combined SAT Score: 1879/2400
Average ACT Score: 27
Average GPA: 3.64/4.00

I probably just wouldn’t apply lol

Why would I not apply to my dream school?
