I am applying to UCSB, UCI, UCD, UCR, and UCSC.
1st SAT: 1140 (580RW, 560M, 8 Essay)
2nd SAT: 1220 (620RW, 600M, 16 Essay)
1st ACT: 25 (28E, 25M, 23R, 25S, 7 Essay)
2nd ACT: 27 (31E, 23M, 32R, 22S, have not received essay score yet but really confident about it)
Which scores look more promising? The SAT scores are kinda low, but the second time I took the ACT I did worse on Math and Science. My intended majors are biochemistry/cell biology btw. Will it also be okay to possibly send both?
