I’m a junior and I will be applying to MIT, Caltech, CMU, Stanford, etc next year.
Should I send my ACT (Composite 35: English 36, Math 35, Reading 34, Science 35) or my SAT (1540: Reading 770, Math 770)?
Also, my SAT writing was an 18/24 and my ACT writing was a 9/12.
your ACT is definitely higher, a 35 in ACT converts to about 1560-1590 ( based on Princeton review Chart) but schools do not evaluate using a conversion chart. You could also send the ACT scores and SAT 2 scores if they are higher
Your ACT, for sure.
@Wisdom2share @Lindagaf Alright thanks for the help! What does a 1540 convert to on the ACT scale?
Less.
Keep in mind that this summer, a new, actual concordance table is expected to be published jointly by College Board and ACT.
@esperantist it is a 34
