I got 800s for Math II, Chemistry and Physics, but only a 680 in world history. I'm applying to lots of competitive schools like Yale and Stanford, should I send the 680?

I know these schools probably get 750+ SATs all day, so a 680 could be TERRIBLE... but I got bad history scores on my transcript, and I wanted to make up for it a bit. Is a 680 OK? Or will it just reduce my chances?

Oh and for the reference, I got 2250 with SAT1. Please please help! I gotta send them out by the end of this week!

The scores aren’t everything, don’t stress about them too much.

As I said on another thread in this forum, all of those schools only require 2 subject tests, so they’ll just use your two highest scores to evaluate you (in this case, it would be two 800’s).

It IS a 680, but at the same time, its a subject that ISNT a math/science. You look more versatile if you sent it, and a 680 really isn’t bad. And as Dakilica said, scores aren’t everything. They won’t deny you because you sent in a 680 along with 3 800’s, that’s absurd. I say send it in.

Thanks a lot! I wanted to send it too, b/c I’ve put sooo much efforts in it!

so… you’re saying I should send the 680 in? And it wouldn’t matter?
