It will be my 1st time taking the ACT tomorrow (Saturday) and the ACT website gave the option to add 4 colleges to send my scores to for free. Should I put the colleges I'm planning on applying to? Will my scores automatically send to those colleges when it's available?

Thanks for your help.

If you elect to send your scores to colleges they will be send to them free of charge. However, if you do not choose schools you will have to pay 10 dollars per report when you apply. If you are really confident that you will do well then send the score, if not wait to see how you do and just pay 10 dollars per school. Hope this helps.

i agree. if you feel sure you will do well enough that you wont be retrying, then go for it. if theres ANY doubt in your mind though, i’d not send. you may end up wishing you waited and sent the retake or superscore scores

I also agree that unless you think you are going to score really high, or get the score you want to get, I would just wait. It only costs $10 to send you ACT score to each school. In the scheme of things, that $10 isn’t very much at all when you consider the peace of mind you will get by having control over who will see your score and who will not. For my daughter, we decided to not send her scores to any colleges because we wanted the control.

Thanks for the advice everyone!

Is there any way that I can revoke my test submission?? I realized after the fact that the scores would be sent to the colleges I choose.
