Do you think it would be a good idea to submit my SAT scores with my application? I am applying early decision to Wheaton College(MA), and they do not require SAT I scores. But, you do have the option of submiting them. My scores are:

1950(M,CR,W)
1260(Math and CR)
Math-690
CR-570
Writing-690

Wheaton's range for SAT scores (M and CR):
1140-1300
Math-580-650
CR-560-650

if your scores are in/above their range, i don't see why you wouldn't, but if you don't i don't think it will hurt you that much if they don't require them. did you take the ACTs?

anyone have any other opinions?

Well, I have a different take. To tell the truth, those scores aren't that great, so it's probably better for you to retake (if at all possible) and send those new scores in.

If you're not going to retake, I suggest that you just not send them. If it's optional, it won't help you, but it won't hurt you.

It really depends on your grades. If your grades are above average for Wheaton then don't send the SAT scores and more weight will be put on those grades. But if your grades seem to match up with the SAT then I really don't think it would hurt to submit it. After all, it looks like your school is somewhere around 65th percentile.
