Should I send them?

I finished applying to all of my schools two weeks ago (Duke, Vanderbilt, WashU, Northwestern, and a few safety schools all RD.)

However, I had never taken the SAT. I found out in September that I was a National Merit Semi-Finalist. I live in Illinois, where the ACT is more prevalent than the SAT. To be considered for finalist status, I needed to take the SAT, which I had never done, and get a score somewhere near 2150.

The scores for the October test came out today and I did better than expected, especially for being unprepared (I basically went in with only the PSAT under my belt.) My scores are decent but weird.

Reading- 800
Writing- 800
Math- 680
for a total of 2280, if you, like me, aren't great at math.

When I took the ACT, my scores were as follows.
English: 35
Math: 32
Reading: 34
Science: 34
for a composite of 34. I already sent this score to all of my schools.

My questions is as follows.

Is it worth it for me to send my SAT score along with my ACT score? It may look impressive that I got two 800s but I'm seriously worried about my math score and I think my ACT math is a lot more consistent. It also might be good for colleges to know that my SAT score is gonna be high enough for possible National Merit Finalist status, but isn't a 2280 very similar to a 34 anyways?

Any insight would be very much appreciated. Thanks very much. (:

I’d say send both. You’ve achieved two very good composite scores and this can only help your application.

Send both. They pretty much validate each other. Good scores.
