Should I send these SAT II scores to Yale?

I am in need of some advice. Here’s my testing history:

Scores sent to Yale thus far:
1st ACT (junior year): 32eng / 32m / 28cr / 27sci (composite 30, 8 on the essay) - also sent to Yale
2nd ACT: 32eng / 32m / 34cr / 26sci (composite 31, 10 on the essay)
3rd ACT: 35eng / 30m / 30cr / 32sci (composite 32, 8 on the essay)

Scores not sent to Yale:
1st SAT: 640cr / 720m / 700w (2060 composite)
2nd SAT: 660cr / 690m / 680w (2030 composite)
1st Mathematics Level 1 SAT II: 710
1st Mathematics Level 2 SAT II: 690
2nd Mathematics Level 1 SAT II: 780
2nd Mathematics Level 2 SAT II: 770
Chemistry SAT II: 710

My understanding is that Yale requires that you send all scores from either SAT or ACT OR you can send all from both. So my question is this: ** should I send my SAT testing history to Yale? **

I ask this question now because I just received my 2nd math level 1 and 2 scores (780 and 770 respectively). It is tempting to send these scores but I would also have to submit my weak SAT I scores. I definitely can’t/shouldn’t send only my SAT IIs, correct? I appreciate all advice.

Since you would need 2 SAT subject test scores, and the maths are duplicative, I would forgo sending your SAT scores.

I don’t need to send anything else. I’ve already fulfilled Yale’s testing requirement by submitting the ACT + Writing.

That is what @skieurope‌ meant. Don’t send them, you don’t need to (and you would need TWO SAT IIs).

I have two (Chemistry + Math 1 or 2).

Since you sent the ACT + Writing, you’re good. I wouldn’t send the subject test scores. Not that they’re bad or anything, but then you’d have to send the whole SAT bundle and it’s unnecessary. Your 32 is better than your 2060/2080 superscore.

If Yale admissions pays attention to your highest scores only why not send all of them? Or is the prevailing opinion on CC that Yale would hold the lower scores against an applicant? I am just curious on that and would like to know. If they consider only your highest scores certainly your chem, math 1 and math 2 will look really good and you should submit them even if previous sittings weren’t as high. And yes the SAT1 is lower for sure but won’t they consider her ACT over the SAT1?

Sorry, I missed the chemistry score. In that case, it’s really a toss-up. I don’t think sending your SAT scores will help you, nor will they hurt you. Your call.

@lr4550‌ @skieurope‌ from what I’ve heard on CC Yale considers all scores submitted, not just your highest. Plus I’ve heard that they don’t like it when applicants test a lot of times, which is why I’m reluctant.

Now of course you can choose not to believe it, but if you are going into a potential relationship questioning whether your potential partner’s words should be taken at face value, then perhaps this particular relationship is not for you.
