I just got my june results back and I got a 750 on literature and 770 on Maths I. I got a 34 on my ACT in April and I'm hoping to apply to Ivy League/other top schools, and I was wondering if sending the subject test scores to subject test optional colleges would help my application based on those scores, or whether my application would look better with the ACT alone. Thanks

I think the 750 on literature is good (especially since I’ve heard on CC that the curve sucks) and the Math I is a good score. You should also consider taking Math II, however, since it is more highly looked upon. I would recommend sending in your subject test since it provides a look into your specialized academic skills.

Thanks, I think I’ll look at taking it, but I was put off because I read it required a graphic calculator and I have absolutely no idea how to use one

Colleges prefer Math 2…nice lit score though
