UC Davis is my top school. My GPA is above average (4.25) and my SAT score is decent (1800). I got a 650 in US History and a 560 in Math II. I’m applying as an Economics major. Should I even bother sending these scores, or will they just make me look worse?

My son applied last year with a GPA of 4.12 and a MATH2 score of 560 also for Environmental Science. He got into UCD.
I would send all the scores. UCD does not recommend SATII subject tests so I do not think it would impact you negatively if you send them in.

I would ask around for more information, but from what I heard is that since the SAT IIs are optional, the reason they accept them is to show expertise in a subject. While I don’t THINK there is a problem sending those scores, I don’t think they will make much of a difference. To me, I feel a 650+ is worthy of sending for SAT II. But again, ask around for other opinions.

Since UC Davis does not require nor recommends SAT subject test scores to be sent, they will definitely not hurt you if you included it in your application :)
