so far for subject tests i sent in the 2 i had which was a 720 in us history, and ...a .... 530 in chem =[ which is appalling i know. chemistry and I hate each other.

sooo i took math I and II in december and um they still werent all that stellar, but they are sure as hell above a 530. i got a 620 in Math II and a 650 on Math I. are these even worth sending in? will they help/hurt or just do nothing?

I got a 650 for the math section on the SAT I and 700s on CR/Writing. I was hoping to show them that i can improve math on the subject tests. but i guess i max out a 650.

anyways im rambling now...so to send? or not to send?

I'd say that you'd do well to try to show that you can do better than 530....yet I fear that if you send additional average scores (sorry to be blunt!), that will draw attention to tests in general on your app.

However, all things considered, I'd lean towards sending them OR try to re-take something at the January tests date (reg. is still open).

i didnt mean the essay component of the test i meant the application
it shows the admissions officers an in depth look at who you are, why do you think so many valedictorians with perfect SAT scores were deferred or str8 up rejected?
my scores:
Math and Verbal: 610
Writing: 640
My subject tests were only slightly better so obviously it wasn't my scores that got me in [essays man!]

thanks penngrl you just made me feel a whole lot better :) and CONGRATZ ON GETTING IN!! hopefully ill be able to say the same in marchh..

im number 1 in my class but my scores soooooooo don't reflect that (SAT anxiety)! i really put a lot into my essays though so i hopee that penn sees that! its my dreammmmm schoool!!
