I took my last sat on january and got a 600 on the reading and 740on math. Previously, i got a 700 and 700. This means that my score will increase by 40 but i am worried about 600 that i got on reading and english. Would they also consider my score drop or just care about my hoghest score?
It is JMHO, but I think the 700 and 700 looks better. I believe you could ask an admissions counselor directly. Recently I was at a parent information meeting and the counselor told specific scores to send and not send.

^Yes, they are better. However, if a school does superscore the SAT, I would send both- a 740 on math is better than a 700. If superscore is not offered, but you can use score choice, I would just send the 700 and 700.
