Hey, guys, I got mah ap scores back last week and i was really, really disappointed =( i kno dat on the Yale Supplement, it says that these additional results are optional, so iono if i should send them in. Ok, last year, i got:

5- World History
4- Computer Science A

but this year i got a:

4- US History (which was a complete slap-in-the-face, considering i had a 100-avg. in that class all year)

3- English Language (this is the reason why I'm doubting whether or not i should send my ap scores...i couldn't believe this score when i got it...i mean, it was the easiest ap test i'd ever taken...and the worst part is, i was planning on applying as an English major to Yale...)

any advice would be sincerely appreciated.

oh, hey, i forgot to add...i also toook the classes for AP Chem and AP Bio, but i didn't take the ap tests for those

If you didn't choose a school to send your scores to, then I don't really see any point now, since you will need to pay a fee. In any case, most applications will ask you to self-report your scores; the official report won't be necessary unless you matriculate at that school and decide to use your AP credits.

Refer to Yale's policy for granting credit for APs. For those APs that qualify you for acceleration credit in classes you want to take, send them in. Those that don't, there is no point anyway. You can withold scores if you choose.

well, i kno dat some schools (such as Princeton) actually take any self-reported AP scores that u put on the admissions application for admissions purposes, and i didn't kno if Yale had the same policy. also, i don't intend to send my ap scores through the College Board (as i understand it, i'm going to send my scores to the college i enroll to sometime next April, when i register for my senior year AP tests). i just didn't kno whether or not to put the scores that i already have down on my undergrad. application

why withhold? they don't count against u. even a 2 would be fine.
