Should I sent my SAT or both SAT & ACT? Will one demean the other?

I was just wondering what you guys thought.

Here are my SAT scores:

(TOP SCORE - Composite 2170):
October 6,2012
Reading - 710
Math - 660
Writing - 800

(OTHER SCORES):
May 5,2012
Reading - 590
Math - 690
Writing - 650

December 3,2011
Reading - 550
Math - 690
Writing - 670

And here is my ACT score:

(Only Score - Composite 31):
English - 26
Math - 31
Reading - 32
Science - 35
Combined English/Writing - 25 (8/12 on Essay)

I realize that for the ACT I got a pretty good score in the Science section and on the SAT I got a good score in the Writing section. It crossed my mind that although I got an 800 in SAT Writing, the fact that I somehow didn't do that well in ACT Writing and English will make my 800 writing look less credible - is this true?

Both test scores are relatively the same, the ACT score seems to range a bit lower than my SAT score - I just don't know, should I send both or just the SAT? I am applying to both UC's and privates (like NYU, USC, etc.)

P.S. I wish I had time to retake the ACT - I feel like I could raise it pretty easily, I'm not sure how I did so badly on the essay or the Writing/English parts in general - but I just don't have the time to.

send SAT, if you superscore the sat, it will be a 2200, which is so much better than a 31.
