I got a full tuition ride to SUNY- Oswego and a spot in their honors program. I plan on majoring in Finance. I also got into University of Maryland-College Park and University of Connecticut.

The thing about Maryland is that I did not get into the Business School so I would have to major in Economics

Should I settle for a mediocre school such as Oswego or will the other two schools mention be better in the long run? Would the honors program be worth it?

both schools I do not qualify for financial assistance.

I’m not sure how much UMaryland is for out of state students, but even if it is less than 30,000, I’d take that. I’ve seen the campus–its absolutely beautiful and has close proximity to Washington. It’s very spread out, well manicured, etc. Sports are pretty prevalent. In all, I feel as though Maryland would give you the best experience/academics, even if it is more money.

I would eventually have to borrow some money, but nothing crazy. How far will a finance degree from University of Connecticut get me? How far will a Economics degree from the University of Maryland get me?
