Would you come home at 11pm and then do SAT prep?

Just wondering because I haven't slept as early as 11pm for about a month now! xD Not good.

Perhaps it would be best to skip school. I'm assuming your taking the May 3rd SATs, so having a full day of prep before might be helpful, and you want to sleep early, too. Just make sure you don't have a major assignment to hand in that day ;)

Well... The thing is I play in the spring musical pit orchestra. The only way for me to possibly have an "excuse" is if I'm absent and don't show up to school. Otherwise... lol, i'll be in trouble.

I also got a few exams on Friday but I guess I can make them up.

eh, sleep isn't too important, went to sleep past midnight before my ACT and i ended up fine. sleeping well one night isn't going to make up for a week (or more) of sleep deficit.

^ Really?! I've done it loads of times! Some days at school are so useless that I'd probably be more productive working at home...

I tend to do this before exams, because we only go to school to study for the exams, which I'm better off doing at home unless I have to ask my teachers a specific question.

I live abroad, and the weekend here is Friday and Saturday. I'm so glad I can use this Friday to just review last minute SAT stuff. Good luck to everyone doing the SAT this Saturday! Eep, I can't believe its already here!

My daughter is in the same boat--but her spring musical has its opening night on Friday, so she's stuck. Realistically, you aren't going to help yourself much by studying one more day, but if you would be better rested and more relaxed, less panicky, stay home, by all means (though you won't be fooling anyone).

^ True. When I stay at home to study, it's not for SATs. Normally it's for large end of year exams - where even a day's revision is effective. I'm not trying to set a bad example though, because when I miss school, it's only on days when it's necessary and there's nothing substantially important going on at school (i.e. we're just revising in class, and I haven't any questions to ask the teachers)...
