<p>I got accepted to A&M about a month ago, but I heard that housing fills up really quickly, and that I should apply for housing even though I'm not sure if I'll attend. Is this true? and.. how do I apply for housing? lol thanks!</p>
<p>Short answer… YES!</p>
<p>You will be out the deposit money if you change your mind, but that may be worth it to you for the peace of mind that you will for sure get housing and, because it is still very early in the process, your top choice.</p>
<p>In your acceptance package that was mailed to you, there should have been a brochure for Housing. You can either fill out the application in the middle of the brochure and mail or fax it or complete it online with a credit card. The online option is recommended for faster processing.</p>

Like does one building have mostly hispanic people, one have mostly asian people, one mostly African American? I’m just wondering, because I really want a diversified residence hall with people of all races…</p>

<p>schuhmacher on university. right across from northgate is probably the most diversity you’ll get at A&M. its also fun as hell!</p>
<p>i may be wrong, but i thought when i looked it said you can get your full housing deposit back if you change your mind before may 1 (or march 1). i guess you could call and ask someone. </p>
<p>but, yeah, if you want a dorm, i think you need to apply as soon as you can.</p>
