Should I start as a Chemical Engineering major?

So some potential majors of mine at the university I will be attending in the fall are Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Math, and Pharmacology. I have to fill out a pre-advising form for before I meet with my advisor and choose classes. I really don't have a huge idea of what ChemE is but it seems really interesting from what I know. If I go in as a ChemE major I'd take Calc, Chem, Physics, Intro to ChemE and some BS seminar thing. Would this be the better idea (versus the other majors) so that I can try the intro to cheme course?

First of all, exclude Chemistry. It’s a terrible major and there’s no reason to major in it when you have Chemical Engineering.

Chemical Engineering freshman and sophomore courses should include most or all of those needed for Math. So if you start finding the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering courses to be not your liking, you can easily switch to Math, if you like those courses.

Yes. [10 char]
