Should I stay in AP?

I was thinking of switching out of my calculus class after 1st semester so I could enroll in a community college calculus class. I'm taking college classes 2nd semester anyways and I was thinking it would save me gas and time if I just took all my classes at the college instead of coming back to my high school. Would that be logical? And how would that look for a college? I applied to schools already and had calculus as a year long class at my high school. Would I have to notify the school about the change if I did do this? What are your opinions?

Thank you for any responses.

It’s a weird situation. Check the curriculum for each class, make sure they line up, then ask an admissions officer or a guidance counselor. Or maybe someone at the community college.

I wouldn’t switch unless you plan on attending that college, because I don’t see the point of taking that class last semester of your senior year. But that being said it won’t make much of a difference I think.
