Should I stay in the 3-2 Engineering Program?

Hello! I am currently a freshman at a liberal arts college on the 3-2 engineering track (A Bachelor of Science from my college and a B.E. from Columbia). The college I attend also offers a 5 year Accelerated Master’s Program in Computer Science. I wanted to know that if (although I don’t plan to) I don’t satisfy one of the requirements to accelerate to Columbia, am I still able to apply to other B.E. programs even though they’re not affiliated with my college? Can I still complete my degree in 3 years at this program and then apply to other universities to earn a B.E.? Or would a Master’s be more applicable than two bachelor’s if I plan to get a job as a software architect/software engineer? Thank you so much!

The Columbia program is probably structured to get one thru in the 2 years. At most colleges you start, in earnest, your sophomore year withyour engineering classes. There are typically classes that must be taken in the proper sequence and doing so is hard to do in 2 years.
