Should I stay ONE more year at a CC? so I can get my GPA up and GO to UCLA & UCB

hey all,

what do you think if I do this?
stay ONE more year at a CC? so I can get my GPA up and GO to UCLA & UCB

Thanks

if either Cal or UCLA is ur dream school, go for it!!

forget school, go fight crime.

spiderman: You’re only allowed to go to one school. You can’t go to UCLA and UCB.

^yeah but he should have said UCLA OR UCB… but anyway… I personally would just accept an offer that I got form another UC and shoot for LA or Cal for grad school but that’s just me. If you don’t mind doing another year at a JC then by all means go for it!

Sorry, but UCB and UCLA don’t accept racists.

haha o yeah, I forgot that spiderman was the guy that asked why berkeley only accepted asians lol… I agree with rawfulmao

Where did you get into other than UCLA/UCB?

If you’re GPA is > 3.3ish and you have less then 70ish units, sure. If not, I wouldn’t (once you have a lot of units, its harder to raise you’re GPA significantly). Like someone said above, forget them and attend somewhere else. Kick butt where ever you go and apply for grad school at LA or Cal

you prolly wont get accepted anyway cause ure not asian

At a point, the only school I was considering was Cal…then I realized how ridiculous that was lol. I may love Berkeley, but it wouldn’t be a great enough incentive for me to wait another year if I had been rejected. The question for me…is do I wait an additional semester? lol.

@ OP: Just do whatever you think you can do. If you can put up with your CCC another year, that’s awesome! I say go for it then! If not, go to wherever else you were admitted. Best of luck :).

For cal, I would stay one more yr for sure

what schools did you get into for next year spidey?

Spiderman, with a great GPA comes a great responsibility.

well, if you really think you have to good chance to get into either UCLA or Berkeley then maybe you should. especially if you are still young.
do some research about this year’s admitted student to UCLA or berkeley in your major.
Go for your dream school!
