Sorry if this the wrong forum to post this thread, but anyway: Basically right now I am attending UCSB (University of California, Santa Barbara) to major in economics. Well I got into the econ major but I am so miserable here. I hate it here. I have no motivation to do well here. I got a rare A in Econ 10A but I just quit because I don't care about this place.

I went here mainly cause I live in Ventura and it was close and I only had to take Calculus I to get in the pre-major.

Now my plan is to go back to Community College, take a few science courses (biology mainly) and transfer to UC Berkeley as a nutritional science major. I have a passion for health - I lost 29 pounds, practically have cured my asthma, and I am as healthy as I have ever been. I have no passion for economics.

What do you guys think? Should I stick it out and just get a degree here at UCSB but forever be miserable as some investment baker or whatever or try my chances at going back to SBCC and trying to pursue my passion? The only problem is I will be 27 when I get my Bachelor's if I go back, but it may be worth it.
