So , my high school grades weren’t the best( I’m an OOS student , btw) , but I wasn’t goinng to let that prevent me from applying to Ole Miss( or just any college in general) .But when I finished my application and saved it , I realized that applications for Fall 2016 opened on July 1st of this year . This really alarms me beacuse of my poor grades and the fact that I would be considered a “special” student ( I’ll be 21 by Fall Semester) . I know that whenever you have low grades you typically want to apply a lot earlier , so I don’t I don’t know if I should turn in my application or not . My chances of getting in–had I applied much earlier–probably weren’t the best , but now I just don’t think I really have a shot . Any advice/suggestions ??? GPA : 2.40
SAT( old test ) : 1155
ACT(old test): 21

Important note*** : I originally planned to apply for Summer Semester , but under their admission policy apparently as a “special” student I can’t do that , so I had to change the term to “Fall” instead .
I don’t think you are “too late” to apply. And it seems to me that Ole Miss encourages “special students” to apply. You will just have to complete your first semester before becoming a fully enrolled student.
I confess I have not studied the page at great length, but it looks like a rolling admission process. Just get your application in now and hope for the best.

@raven2016 Just turned in my application and test scores . Now I just have to send in my high school transcripts . Hoping for the best outcome , but preparing myself for what I think is going to happen…
