should I still visit even if I don't think I will attend?

I am a senior who has so far gotten into three top 20 LACs. Now out of the three top 20 LACs, one has given substantial financial aid, one has given rather middling financial aid, and I don't have my award from the other one. (they don't have all my documents for some reason)

I am definitely going to visit the third school because I have merit aid from them along with a stipend. As for the other two colleges though, the difference in their financial aid packages is 9k a year for my family and 21k a year for my family. This makes the first college a lot more worthwhile, but should I still visit the second one then? (it's close enough so that I can drive there, so it won't cost a plane ticket or anything)

My parents decided that they are willing to pay for me wherever I go, even after comparing financial aid awards, but I'm a little doubtful. (I have a brother who will be going to college right after I graduate) 12k is a lot of money, so I probably will attend the first LAC. I guess this could be construed as another thread of fit over FA.

I think you should visit. If you fall head-over-heels in love with school #2, you'll have a hard decision to make (maybe you could ask for more money?), but at least you'll have a fuller picture. And if you like school #1 about the same or more than school #2, you won't have any doubts anymore.
