Should I Submit 2140 SAT or 33 ACT?

Breakdown for SAT:

Cumulative: 2140
Reading: 650
Math: 770
Writing: 720 (11 essay)

Breakdown for ACT:

Composite: 33
English: 34
Math: 34
Reading: 28
Science: 34

I really like my ACT score for English, Math, and Science, but I don't know if my reading score will hurt me.

I would go with the ACT.

How do you people get theses scores! 8-|

bump

I think that you should send ACT

Your reading score in both cases will hurt you, if you are applying to very competitive Universities. And I agree, go wth ACT.

@sanwal Okay thanks. I know I probably won’t fare too well with top ivy league schools, except maybe for Cornell. But how would I fare if I apply to Rice, Carnegie Mellon, and Washington University in St. Louis?

Send both.

You have a decent shot at all these schools but you should demonstrate in your essays how good of a student you are, and how much want to go to that particular University (not any of them). Tests are one part of your application, your GPA will play a bigger role and essays and EC’s also play a part. Keep the rest of it intact.
