Should I submit a 1790 sat score?

I already have a 29 ACT score that I plan on submitting already, in comparison to my SAT it’s a lot better. but I don’t know if I should bother submitting that sat score? will it make me look worse?

That would be 1790 on the old SAT, correct? From what I could see at the link below, the 29 is indeed a higher score, and will put you into a pool one notch above the 1790.

That is one notch, so a bump, but not a leap. Still, if the numbers will help to strengthen your profile and offering, just send in the ACT. If you took the ACT w/writing and got that score, you will not have to worry about submitting SAT Subject Tests to many of the schools. Those heavy in the math and science, if you were seeking to major in either field, might still require the Subject Tests, though.

You do not need to submit SAT scores if you are submitting your ACT scores. One or the other is required by the UC’s, not both. Submit your ACT.
