Should I submit a 700 on SAT French?

I've taken three subject tests: Math II (800), Physics (800), and French (700...) I'm applying to top universities like Princeton and Stanford, and many of them recommend subject tests. Do you think I should submit the 700? I know it's not that good, but aren't many people who take the French test native speakers? Would admission officers see that score in context?
The thing is, I feel like my learning of French is an important part of my app. I'm taking AP right now, I've been a member of French club since 9th grade, and I got 6th place in the nation on the National French Contest. So I've definitely devoted a lot of time and effor to French, and I know that the 700 doesn't really reflect that too well.

Yes, I’d submit it. It shows some competence outside your core strength and I think it is hard to score well in f lang as a non native.

I agree – it you had 800s in the other two but a 700 in US History, for example, I might not submit it (it wouldn’t necessarily help you). But a non-native foreign language might.

Absolutely submit it. If anything, it’ll get you out of basic French classes. :)

Alright, thanks everyone! Didn’t expect to get such a unanimous response. Will it really not hurt my chances at top universities, though? I know that a 700 isn’t bad, but it’s definitely lower than the average SAT II’s of an Ivy applicant. Or will that not matter since I already have two 800’s, and none of the schools I’m applying to require more than two tests?

Since you have two 800’s, the 700 is just a bonus that shows “range” in excellence. :)

Awesome, thanks a ton.
