I have a 4.0uW, 1560 SAT score (790 math, 770 english) and 800 SAT math.
I’m applying to UCB, UCLA, UCSD (in-state), UNC, UPenn, Rice, Duke

I would- You stats are fantastic. a 720 is still over the 700 line and you are competing with a really narrow pool of applicants on that test. I think its a fine showing that is a nice addition to your other metrics
I would.
most of these schools are asking for two, so you should submit it. However applicants at these schools will have 750 on this, if not, flat out 800.
Admissions committees know that about 40% of this test is Physics 2. If you’ve only had Physics 1 that’s a very good score. If you’ve shown your proficiency in physics with your grades and AP score you’re good to go. S19 is in the same position and that’s what we were told by a recently retired head of admissions at a top school.
@theloniusmonk I’m an Economics major, not STEM, so Physics really wasn’t my strong suit but the Literature test seemed tough and I wasn’t prepared for the History test so I took Physics. Not sure if that was the wrong choice, but would that give me some leeway. And many of the schools, like Emory and the UCs, only consider SAT subject tests so should I submit them there.
@NJFL123 I don’t know what Physics 1 and 2 are- I took physics honors last year, and am taking AP physics C mechanics this year.
There are several AP Physics courses. AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C, etc.
You have to submit all SAT scores to the UCs and Penn. No score choice allowed.
@coolweather I think all SAT scores mean all SAT 1 scores, not SAT subject scores.
@coolweather UPenn recommends subject tests. There is no requirement to send all subject test scores. Furthermore, Penn allows Score Choice for SAT1:

No UPenn allows for score choice for subject test scores. Either way, for the colleges that allow score choice, should I submit sat physics (I’m not a stem major, so would there be more leeway there)?
Sorry- others have already said that. For the colleges that allow score choice, should I submit sat physics (I’m not a stem major, so would there be more leeway there)?
Sorry, I am not up to date about Penn.

Both the College Board website and the UC website don’t say anything that the subject test scores won’t be sent.
@lovescookies - I would not submit SAT Physics if it’s not required. It does not help if you do. It could be a detraction. I heard one college admission director told the audience not to submit test scores that are not required.
@coolweather so UCs are not score choice for subject tests or are?
Since SAT subject tests are recommended not required, you can use score choice for the UC’s.
@lovescookies I am not sure.
Does College Board have a separate score choice for SAT 1 and a separate score choice for SAT subject tests? Or do they just have a single score choice for both SAT 1 and SAT subject tests? I did not send SAT scores for anyone in the last two years, so I am really not sure.
In your case, it does not hurt to send SAT Physics score to the UC because it’s not required by your major. I believe they will not consider if you send it.
