Hi, i know this has been asked before but im seeking personalized advice
So I’ve seen multiple threads on this site saying that I shouldn’t send a music supplement if I’m not like Juillard level or conservatory level or whatnot.
However, I have been playing violin for a while now (10 years) and have won awards and competitions and good experiences
heres an example of my violin accomplishments
international competition solo winner 2nd place (and other state and regional competitions)
played solo performance at carnegie hall
masterclass with ray chen (I dunno if this is an accomplishment but it was cool haha)
Honor Orchestra of America
All State Orchestra
performances for mayor
so yeah point is i’ve accomplished a lot but I don’t think I can confidently say that I’m conservatory level?? like right now I’m playing the Tchaikovsky violin concerto and am planning to record and submit that if i do send a music supplement, but I can’t say confidently that I would be able to play a Paganini Caprice…
((By the way this is for selective colleges ex. Stanford harvaard u penn duke dartmouth cornell etc))
