Should I submit a portfolio for Olin?

I am wondering if I should submit a portfolio when I apply to the Olin business school. I have a very impressive research project that deals with economics and finance that I can submit. It is 8 pages long. However, it seems that they are encouraging kids to not submit any additional materials. On their website they say “We encourage you to present yourself the best you can within the format of your application for admission, namely in the extracurricular, essay, and additional information sections.” I also emailed the admissions office and they just copy and pasted this message lol.

What do you guys think?

The only time a portfolio is required is for art school admissions. Keep what you have on the back burner-it might end up being something you submit for a class project.

No, submit only what they ask of you. No more and no less. I personally worked on 3 different research projects at my local university during my time in high school and I never submitted any additional materials.
