My team and I just took 3rd place at a state level math competition. Should I submit an update to the schools that I applied to? This is given that math is the weakest subject on my application, and I am applying to Ivy Leagues. If so, how would I go about doing it?

Bump :) ....

Did you send a resume? If not you could send one in detail and add that. Otherwise you could sent an updated resume that has that on it. I wouldn't send the accomplishment alone, it looks too desperate, but if you feel its REALLY important just pair it up with something- be it another rec or resume.

Instead of a resume I added an additional information section with my awards/distinctions and senior course load. Should I make an EC's resume so to speak, with that included, and submit it?

Yeah, but to avoid being repetitive I would go all out on the resume, adding more than EC's, so it looks like your addition was worth their time to read.

I think I was ambiguous..

I already submitted a document with my course load and awards/distinctions as the additional information section of my application. I didn't have my EC's or anything on there, so should I submit another document with all that included?

submit it only if u feel that the component is a critical part of your application.

I just suggest adding them so it doesn't look redundant and like your addition was unecessary..but I guess you could slip that in to what you already have and they will hopefully look at your latest version
