SHOULD I submit AP scores?

I saw a few threads about this, but they were posted years ago (views on this may be completely different now).
I found out my AP scores today for US History, Chemistry, and English Lang and Comp: got straight 3s. I'm very shocked; I was 99% sure that I was going to receive a 4 or 5 on each exam. Last year I did okay; got a 5 on Psychology and a 3 on World History.
Now to my question: will it hurt me if I do not self-report my scores in the common app (or whatever applications certain colleges use)? I mean, I only got one 5 out of the five AP tests I've ever taken. But will colleges believe that I failed all of the exams if I don't self-report them? I'm currently thinking about applying to these colleges:
Rice
Brown
Vanderbilt
UCLA
WU St Louis

Freaking out quite a bit. I feel like this has deeply hurt my chances of getting into those colleges.

bump!!! same question!

Bump similar problem here

Taking your AP scores out of the picture, is the rest of your profile really of the level it needs to be for the highly selective schools on your list—all reaches for most applicants?

AP scores are not used for admissions purposes to the extent that SAT/ ACT/ SAT 2s are, if at all, and not to the degree that posters on CC think. Still, I don’t believe there’s a way to get around self-reporting. Colleges will see that you took these courses; if you don’t record your scores, they might just assume that they’re subpar (which they aren’t, for most colleges, with respect to offering course credit).

Broaden your list of schools, include realistic safeties/ matches.
