I have taken both ACT and SAT tests. While I did pretty well on SAT (750/Math, 740/CR), I feel I should have easily gotten an 800, and made a careless mistake. However, my ACT score better reflects math/science (with 36 on both subscores, but the English on ACT was not great). Still, I feel that the ACT better reflects on my math ability, so should I just submit this score? I know I've read that MIT puts all test scores in best light of applicant, but I'm still worried that a 750 will not measure up to other applicants, and perhaps then it would be best to only submit ACT score?

Your SAT scores are fine, but if you’re obsessing over this, just submit both for peace of mind.

This is what they do. They will use the ACT math and the SAT verbal, end of story.

That’s not to say that your SAT math score is problematic – sending the ACT score won’t really help you in terms of admissions, but it certainly won’t hurt to send both. It will never hurt you to send both.

Thanks Mollie and CalAlum – sounds like both is the way to go then.
