Should I submit both SAT and ACT?

I have taken both the SAT and ACT, and got 2180 (M: 700, CR: 720, W: 760) and 31 respectively.

My ACT break down is M: 34, R:32, E: 35, S: 24. I know the science score is really low, but would it be worth it for colleges to see that I did well in other sections?

I am mostly looking at small liberal arts schools like Middlebury, Carleton, and Bowdoin.

You should definitely submit your SAT! It’s a great score. Your ACT is good too. Is it within the median for those schools? If so, send it in. But if not, at least you have your SAT :]

Your scores are close enough that you should send both.

But won’t the science be looked down upon?

My guess is that yes, the science will be looked down upon. Try to improve it, since the rest of your scores are awesome! Retake the ACT if you can after prepping for the science section. As long you’re not stating a prospective major in the sciences, I don’t think you science ACT score will impact you majorly. Just make sure a 31 is within the median (like post #2 said), and you’ll be fine if you submit it.
