Should I submit my 740 SAT Physics to the schools that do not "recommend"?

My concern is that I will send my 800 SAT Math II to every other school that I am applying to, but should I send my physics score to other schools that do not recommend too? Carnegie Mellon and Harvard are the only two schools that “recommend” so I will send both my 800 SAT Math II and 740 SAT Physics. Other schools that do not “recommend” two SAT subject tests on my list are USC, Washu, Emory, UCLA, UC Berkely, Cornell, Georgia Tech, Duke, etc. I am applying for Business, (Information Systems) and my ACT is 34.

It can’t hurt to send in both subject test scores to all the colleges you are applying to.
You won’t be penalized.
Relax and good luck

This is the first year that Cornell engineering isn’t recommending subject tests. They are still listed as optional and will be considered. I would personally send both.

Yes, I’d go ahead and send both to all schools.

as a business applicant that 740 physics will look good, i think. I might hesitate only if you were applying to engineering at the top programs,…

FYI my daughter got in to Emory and only submitted only one SAT 2, and a good friend got into Wash U and sent none.

There’s a pinned thread as to why SAT II tests are not really optional even if the colleges claim so. If you come from a family with middle to middle-high income, you should definitely send your scores, even if it’s a 740 in Physics.
