I got a 32 composite on my ACT, first time, no prep. Breakdown was 32/29/32/33/ 10 on essay.

Just got my SAT back, 2nd time man is it painful 690 cr/700 m/700 w, 10 on essay. I remember some guy told me about an answer to a reading question I initially had right then changed and this is the result. I guess I deserve that. The whole 2090 vs 2100 thing is really bothering me.

2 questions:

1) Should I send in both, or only my ACT? Applying to Emory ED.

2) Should I take the SAT again just to know I scored above a 2100 lol

To be quite honest, your two scores are pretty comparable (although your ACT is slightly better). I do not think that sending in your SAT will hurt you, but that’s just my take :D. On the bright side, you are marvelously balanced (guess that can be a good and a bad thing lol). Wish you luck on your chances! Lot’s of kids from my school are applying Emory ED, but I think you can take 'em down w/ good EC’s/gpa.

If you get recruited, you worry less about the scores. You may send both scores in although I don’t think the SAT would give anything extra. To be honest, do you regret not preparing for the ACT? You may have gotten a higher score and eligible for merit aid otherwise.

Your ACT score is just slightly better than your SAT score.
If you want, send in your SAT score because there are 2 of them. But since your ACT is a little better, I’d send that into Emory

Good that you feel okay. Your ACT score is right at average for Emory. You would have an even better chance if you score 1-2 point higher which is easily achievable if you did a few practice tests.

The mid 50 GPA is 3.73-3.98 (unweighted). So your GPA is also below average even if it is unweighted. You do need above average score to help your chance. Again, if you are recruited athlete, it is a different game.
