Should I submit my ACT score (26)?

Ok, I thought the ACT was the hardest test ever. The Science part completely destroy me. English is not my first language so I always have problem with the subject. The Science was impossible for me. I just want to know if I should submit my ACT score to University of VA.
Math: 30
English: 24
Reading 27
Writing: 8
Science: 22
Composite: 26

I think this would hurt my chance since my SAT score already not that good (1890).
So wht do you think?

I don’t think a 26 ACT and 1890 SAT is THAT bad. People on this forum are so critical of stat’s and believe that anything under a 2000 will not get you into any school and that’s simply not true. I say submit the scores, if you live in-state. I feel like they would hurt if you live OOS because they only accept about 23% of those applicants. UVA uses a holistic approach when looking at their applicants. Make sure everything on your application is flawless and that you do a lot of community service though. It’s definitely by no means IMPOSSIBLE to get into UVA if you have an SAT score under a 2000. One of my friends was admitted and had an 1800 SAT and a 26 SAT, but he does a lot of community service and writes so incredibly well. I live in Virginia though.

I agree that a 26 isn’t a bad score, bit the ACT considers it to be the equivalent of a 1770 on the SAT, which is lower than your 1890, so I see no reason to submit it.
