Should I Submit My ACT?

My SAT score is: 800 CR, 690 M, 800 W (2290)
My ACT score is: 33 W, 34 M, 35 R, 29 S (33)

My SAT score is obviously much better. However, my ACT Math score was much better than my SAT Math score so I want that to be noted. The problem is I was not really prepared for the ACT Science section and I did pretty badly on it, lowering my overall score. Should I still submit the ACT? My credentials in science are generally pretty good (medals in Science Olympiad and 800 the Biology Subject Test).

Send it in. If you’re applying to great schools, a 33 is still pretty great. Anyway, they will consider the higher of the two scores. Just sending it in, however, will tell them that you are maybe a little versatile, and are also willing to sit in on a saturday to take another test.

Send it in. I had a very similar situation - math was my best subscore on the ACT but my worst on the SAT. If you have the extra science ECs, then I don’t think it should be a problem.

Send them both…colleges will see your CR and W mastery, a long with stronger Math performance in ACT. It’ll make you seem more well-rounded, than your SAT score portrays.

Haven’t you asked this question before!? In any case you’re getting exactly the same replies.

I’d have to agree with the other posters on this.

Hmmm…tough to say. They might expect you to be a very strong scorer in science and math since that’s what you’re good at. But an 800 on the biology might even it out, so it’s tough to say. I think it’s up to you.

Send them both. Let them know it wasn’t luck.

With those scores, sending them both in could only help you (it certainly won’t hurt you).

I think colleges would understand if you didn’t do amazing on your Science section of ACT, because that section has little to do with science and a lot to do with managing your time so you can finish all the questions.
