Should I submit my AP test scores?

Hey, I'm looking to apply to several LACs that are pretty hard to get into. (Swarthmore is my top choice at the moment.) During my Junior year I took 2 AP classes (US History and English Comp) and got 3s on both of the tests. Will getting 3s instead of 4s and 5s hurt my chances of getting into certain schools? If so, is there any way for me to just not tell the colleges I'm applying to that I took the tests? Can I just go to the "Academics" section of the Common App and delete the test dates, class, and test scores?

I wouldn’t take the risk. Schools will give you credit for a 3, but it probably won’t help you in the admissions process. A 3 shouldn’t hurt you either, but I would only suggest wasting more money on a college app if it will definitely help you. You absolutely don’t have to tell a college what you got, either. As long as you don’t call College Board to send your scores, they will never know. Good luck!

It also looks suspicious to not submit an AP score for an AP class that you’ve taken. I’d submit them. 3s aren’t bad.
