Should I Submit My ISEE Scores?

Hi Everyone, I really need some help!

I’m applying for 9th grade at 5 boarding schools - Exeter, Andover, Choate, Hotchkiss, and Lawrenceville.

Background:
-Straight A+ student for the past 3 years
-Amazing Recommendations
-Feel really good about 3 out 5 Interviews
-ECs

  • Have my own weekly podcast
  • Play Soccer and Tennis
  • Into investing, chess, and cubing.

I have taken the ISEE twice.

1st ISEE Test
Verbal - 85 - Stanine 7
Reading - 83 - Stanine 7
Quantitative - 88 - Stanine 7
Math Achievement - 80 - Stanine 7

2nd ISEE Test
Verbal - 72 - Stanine 6
Reading - 96 - Stanine 9
Quantitative - 83 - Stanine 7
Math Achievement - 82 - Stanine 7

I am assuming all these Boarding School superscore two tests. So here’s what it looks like superscored.

ISEE Test Superscored
Verbal - 85 - Stanine 7
Reading - 96 - Stanine 9
Quantitative - 88 - Stanine 7
Math Achievement - 82 - Stanine 7

Considering that I am applying to these competitive boarding schools should I submit these scores? Or since ISEE/SSAT are totally optional this year, should I not submit if these scores negatively affect my overall application?

These ISEE scores are good enough to submit if you want to. It won’t hurt you if you don’t submit them. You should focus on your essays and how to make yourself stand out, as the schools you’re applying to are very competitive. Also, do you have any awards? You can still get in if you don’t have any, it just helps a lot if you do.
