Hello so I was just wondering which you all would submit... A 2140 (730 math, 710 critical reading, 700 writing ) or a 33 ACT (35 MATH 35 ENGLISH 29 READING AND 31 SCIENCE). I got 10,s on both essays. Would you submit both or only one? I want to be an engineer if that matters... And I'm applying to UVA, CORNEL, AND CARNEGIE MELLON. THANKS

Submit both. They’re both great scores.

I’d say ACT

Are those two math scores comparable or is the ACT better? Remember I’m applying for engineering so that’s the most important section

ACT math is better than your SAT. I think your combined English and Essay ACT score is better than your SAT writing score as well.

Yeah it was 32.

why not just submit both?

Because I want engineering schools to see me in the best possible light. I feel the SAT math is substantially lower and could look a lot worse than my ACT math

Submit both. Nice job! Best of luck.

Admissions likes to see both tests because it gives them more info
Both tests are good so submit them both
