Should I submit my SAT scores if I want to get into UC Davis

My SAT Score: 1340 (Couldn’t take it again b/c test center just got canceled and no more seats left anywhere else. I have signed up for December ACT but Idk how I’m going to do on that)

Major I’m applying to: Biological Sciences (with pre-med route)

Unweighted GPA: 4.0
UC weighted GPA: 4.42
UC capped and weighted GPA: 4.42

Course Load (including senior year): 6 APs, 1 UC honors, 5 transferrable CC courses.

AP Exams: AP Lang (4), AP Calc AB (5)

Extracurriculars: American Red Cross Volunteer, American Red Cross Volunteer Engagement Lead for all of Alameda County (In East Bay), all of South Bay, and all of Central Coast, Washington Hospital Volunteer, Math/Science Mentor, Religious volunteering, Science club (President), Pre-med Club (President), Interact club, JV tennis, Science Bowl, and I also started my own tutoring business.

Number of Community Service Hours: 1,000

So do you think that my SAT will hurt my application, or will it do nothing to it? Should I include it or not? Also, do you think I’ll be able to get into UC Davis?

General rule of thumb for submitting scores if the school is test optional: Submit if the scores are around the 50th percentile or higher.

2020 Data:
25th - 75th percentiles for SAT totals:

UCD: 1230-1490

2019 Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 4.20 or above capped weighted and not major specific:
UCD: 84%

**2020 UC capped weighted GPA averages along with 25th-75th percentile range: **
UCD: 4.11 (3.97-4.25)

I would submit. Best of luck.

@Gumbymom Okay, I’ll submit it then. Thank you for helping me clear up my confusion!
