Should I submit my SAT scores to test optional schools...?

I’m a pretty terrible test taker. I got a 1210 on the October SAT (640 Reading and Writing, 570 Math). I’m retaking the test again in November, but just in case I don’t do better, I want to know whether I should submit my scores. I’m just worried that schools will think that I scored below average.

The test-optional schools I’m applying to are Mt Holyoke, Bates, Denison, Wake Forest, Clark University, Providence

If they are below the average for the school then do not submit.

Agree with above statement. If your scores are at or above the average for the school then submit, otherwise apply test optional.
