Ok I messed up on my application and I made a mistake. I inputed 2 A's instead of one A for my summer school classes. I want to go to Berkeley but I haven't heard back from them yet and their office is closed on weekends. Well UCLA sent a letter back to me promptly saying that this will not affect my admissions. SHould I just submit my SIR for UCLA, because submitting my SIR for Berkeley is sort of risky. My admission might get rescinded, although UCLA didnt think it was a big problem. Think I should just enroll for UCLA?

^^^^^ This is not how you should make big decisions.

Where do you really want to go? If your first choice is Cal, call them first thing Monday and tell them about this situation. You don't choose a college based on not hearing back from them about a technicality. You need to be a lot more assertive and,if Cal is really your first choice, make it happen. You will need such assertiveness to be very successful at either school because they are big universities with lots of red tape and almost no hand-holding.

I don't want to be rude or anything, but to make a college decision just because of this is really stupid. I am just amazed right now. wow.....I hope you don't come to Cal.

....I think what CollegeSenior/PoliteAntagonist said is right sometimes....

Don't be rude, please, hypnosX. Collegesenior/pa/wontshutup has some important things to say, but one prospective student thinking about making an unwise decision dones't mean Berkeley students are generally idiotic.
