Hi!
Subject test scores came out today, and I ended up with a 750 on both Math II and Chemistry. I plan on submitting my ACT (35 composite single sitting with 36 math, 35 on both English sections, 32 on science), so I know that for many schools I wouldn’t be required to submit subject tests. As a person who plans on going into a STEM field (considering majoring in computational biology), do you think that these scores are worth submitting? Will they help or hurt my application? Should I retake them?
For reference, I am considering schools such as Harvard, Swarthmore, Haverford, Wesleyan, and Reed. This is NOT a complete list but just a handful of some of my favorites thus far to help you gauge the level of the schools I’m looking at.
ALSO: I did get a 4 on both the AP Calc BC exam and the AP Chemistry exam, which I know isn’t going to be very helpful either. (Additionally I got a 5 on AP World History and a 4 on AP US History, but that’s less relevant as I am not considering going into history)
Thank you so much!

I would submit the Chem for sure. That’s a great Chem score. I would also submit the Math 2. While you might want it to be 10 or 20 points higher, that’s not really that big a deal and if you don’t submit it colleges will notice it is missing and may assume it was well below a 750.
From what many others have indicated, even for the very tippy top schools, any score above 750 is solid. Congrats on your scores!
