Should I switch out of this class?

So, I've heard that colleges really want to see the so-called "Holy Trinity" of sciences on your transcript (that is, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) - but my issue is that I want to major in Political Science and I detest math, and Physics is almost purely math... so for senior year, I've signed up for Marine Biology. (I've taken H. Bio, H. Chem, and AP Enviro so far).

Would it be that big of a deal if I didn't take Physics and took Marine Biology instead (which I know I'll like much more and excel in much more than Physics)

Snce you don’t want to major in science, you are fine without Physics.

I think that will be okay. Since you aren’t majoring in science or math-as long as you’ve taken a basic classes you’ll probably be fine. Talk to your counselor if you’re worried.

In my HS, its a graduating requirement to take all three, physics, chem, and bio.

In my high school we have to take biology and chemistry OR physics. It definitely varies at different schools.
