Should I switch rooms?

I have a lot of problems with my roommates. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t feel comfortable in my own room, and I always dread having to go back to it. I’ve talked with my RA and we’ve had a group chat, but things aren’t much better. Should I switch rooms? I don’t want to go through that hassle, but I don’t want to live here anymore. I feel like I’m giving up. I’m also afraid that if I switch rooms, my new roommate will be just as bad and I’ll have to go through this all over again. But, I also feel like if I get a single, I’ll really feel like an outsider because I don’t have any friends. Sometimes I feel like I just want to drop out and go home. What should I do?

Switch rooms. Your room should be a place where you feel comfortable – don’t give up! Ask to switch and see what other kids are available to room with.

Switch rooms and keep trying. That’s not giving up. That’s problem solving.

What specifically is the problem? What makes you feel uncomfortable?
